Mandatory Reporting and the Therapeutic Relationship

A Master Class

 Mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse is being introduced to Ireland.

This master class will

  • Explore in-depth the impact of the mandatory reporting on the therapeutic relationship
  • Allow therapists to explore their personal challenges in implementing the policy
  • Using case studies to examine transference and counter transference.
  • Review the legal situation

The course is participative and experiential and includes presentations and small group work. Extensive hand-outs are provided.

 

This one day course is only suitable for Members who have already completed One in Four’s Child Protection and the Counsellor / Psychotherapist training.
