An Introduction to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy CPD Presenters: Daniel Flynn & Dr. Mary Kells

Presenter: Daniel Flynn is a Clinical Psychologist and Principal Psychology Manager co-ordinating Adult and Child/Adolescent Mental Health Services in Cork. Daniel completed his training in DBT in 2011 and thereafter developed the Endeavour Programme which continues to be delivered in both Cork city and County. In 2013, Daniel successfully secured funding from National Office for Suicide Prevention to roll out a National DBT Implementation Project. This project has, to date trained 24 DBT teams in Adult and Child/Adolescent Mental Health servisces in Ireland. Daniel is an accredited DBT therapist via the Society of DBT, Uk and Ireland. 

Presenter: Dr. Mary Kells is a Clinical Psychologist working in North Lee Mental Health area. She is an Accredited DBT practitioner.

 

Workshop Outline: Introduction to the concept of personality disorder Orientation to DBT, Overview of Borderline Personality Disorder, Pre-treatment and planning therapy, Group skill training, Individual therapy.

 

Training Level: All Levels.

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop.
