IACP COVID-19 tips & help

Dear Member,

These are concerning times that we are facing. We're seeing an unprecedented change in the world. This unfolding situation is unlike anything that has happened in any of our lifetimes. We are all in the midst of a time of great change and uncertainty.

Our clients need us now more than ever, and we should endeavour to the greatest extent possible to maintain our services in a safe manner that is consistent with the national public health advice and guidelines. A number of communications have issued to you already detailing this advice as well as a range of other useful information and supports. Please keep an eye on your emails and visit the IACP website on a regular basis to keep yourselves informed. We have also created a page on iacp.ie dedicated to your queries and developments around Covid-19 from an IACP member's perspective. I would advise you to visit the site and follow the Covid-19 tab.

The Board of Directors and Staff of the IACP are here to offer support and guidance at this trying time, and although our physical offices are closed, our virtual office is being staffed by our dedicated team who are working hard to answer your queries. I will ask – with the utmost kindness – for you to be patient with them while they work through these queries.

I would ask you to keep in mind your own safety and well-being during this time. You are all acutely aware of the importance of self-care and I would recommend that you all take good care of yourselves during this time.

Keep safe and well,

Ray Henry,

IACP Cathaoirleach
