This lively, informative and important day highlights the oft unspoken element of the art and science of Supervision - the role of Gatekeeper. Some of us are faced with new trainees who do not understand the importance of this aspect and misunderstand the significance. For many when Supervision is a good match, all flows smoothly and therefore do not have to exercise these skills for many years, therefore this workshop will revisit these competencies in a CPD mode. During the Workshop together we will honestly and wisely look at the honour, the implications and ultimately the responsibility of this noble profession in relation to trainees, those seeking full accreditation and our long time Supervisees including peer work.
CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Forum
Please Note:
IACP will continue to monitor the situation about the Coronavirus and will adhere to any further recommendations issued by the HSE and/or the National Public Health Emergency Team.
Our IACP planned events will continue but we do ask any attendee, if they have recently returned from an affected area, that they do not attend these events, and to follow the advice of the HSE here.
