Brian is an accredited supervisor who works as a Healthcare Chaplain in Sligo University Hospital. He has just completed a three and a half year term as the Chair of the local west northwest region. He is currently pursuing post grad work in the area of Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy. As a Roman Catholic Priest he is particularly interested in an ecologically generated integration of the Pastoral with the Clinical. Anglican, Jewish and Baptist supervisors have been overseeing this integration spanning the distance between Cork University Hospital, Saint Vincent’s Dublin and the New York facilities of MSK Cancer Centre and NYU Langone Medical Centre. Brian’s current program is a focus on the Bowen Family Systems Theory and he is happy to share his learning to springboard the usually lively discussion that the Region’s Supervisory Forum has become synonymous with.
