Ethics Committee

Formulates and monitors the IACP Code of Ethics and Practice. Raise issues relating to the implementation of such codes. Advises and comments on ethical issues.

Ethical Advisor 
An Ethical Advisor service is currently available to Members. The Ethical Advisor is available for 4 hours per week to respond to ethical queries from members. The purpose of the Ethical Advisor function is to provide specific support for members regarding ethical matters. The Ethical Advisor is the first point of contact for members regarding any ethical enquiries. Particularly complex queries may require further consultation with the Ethics Committee. Marie Kealy, Ethical Advisor, is an experienced IACP Member and Supervisor.
