Presenters Bio: Susan is certified by the Center for Mindfulness the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She has also completed Mindful Self-compassion training with Dr.Chris Germer. She runs a range of Mindfulness courses and workshops in Kerry. Susan adheres to the Irish good practice guidelines for teaching mindfulness-based courses.

Workshop Outline: An Introduction to the Theory and Principals of Mindfulness with particular emphasis on it's relationship to Counselling and Psychotherapy. Participants will be offered the opportunity to experience a mindfulness session, it is advised to wear comfortable clothing. It would be advisable to bring a blanket and a cushion.
