Fiona Hurley is the Policy and Communications Manager with NASC and joined the organisation in 2010 following nine years in the Legal Service. She holds a Bachelor of Law and Masters in Law from UCC and a Diploma in Leadership in Management. She has extensive experience in immigration and protection law as well as providing capacity building and training to organisations on immigration law and it's intersection with housing, social welfare, education and health entitlements.
Fiona will speak about the services provided by the organisation, a registered charity based in Cork city. NASC works with migrants and refugees to realise and fulfil their rights. Some of the projects include an information service, Migrant Youth (Connect) and Women's Project (Gateway).
