Dr Rita Glover has an extensive background as an Assistant Professor in Psychotherapy, Chair of the Professional Diploma in Clinical Supervision and lecturer on the MSc in Psychotherapy and the Doctorate in Psychotherapy programmes in Dublin City University. Dr Glover's specialist lecturing, training consultancy interests and research (nationally and internationally) include psychotherapy supervision, integrative psychotherapy, individual and couple therapy and psychosexual therapeutic practice. Dr Glover is an accredited supervisor and a senior accredited psychotherapist.
Alongside supporting and enhancing supervisees professional and personal development, upholding standards of safe and ethical practice is a central function of the supervisory endeavour.
This workshop is designed to enhance supervisors’ knowledge, skills and management of ethical dilemmas that arise in their supervisees’ counselling /psychotherapy practice.
The workshop will also provide supervisors with an opportunity to consider and practice ethical deliberation and gain insight into their professional and personal responses to ethical dilemmas in supervision.
