Presenter's Bio:

Maureen Levy is the 2022 IACP Dublin/Regional Award winner. With a background in the arts, education and mental health, she has worked as a trainer, facilitator and performer for over 35 years. Maureen has trained and facilitated all ages, abilities and demographics , working in Ireland USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Spain and  Ghana, teaching creative writing, art, communications, public speaking and improvisational comedy.

Workshop Outline:

This workshop will demonstrate and easily accessible tool for self expression, self-disclosure and therapeutic exploration, which may enhance the depth and effectiveness of therapy.

The class will consist of writing prompts, the structuring of stories, personal narration, healing benefits, sharing and reflection. It will also include discussion  of ethical considerations and the integration of memoir/journaling into the therapeutic process.
