Presenter's Bio:

Jim Hutton’s is a fully accredited member of IACP. His further educational training includes a diploma in counselling (Maynooth NUI) and an honours degree in counselling and psychotherapy (DBS). Jim has a private practice in counselling, psychotherapy and educational training with a focus on relationships, addiction, practical life skills and self-care awareness, and LGBTQI+ issues. His presentation portfolio of clients include IACP, Belong To LGBTQI+ Youth Services, Crosscare, SOAR, Insight Matters, PCI College, ICPPD College and The Irish Defence Forces.


Event Outline:

1 hour workshop to be held as part of the AGM.

This is a one hour introduction to the six hour, full day, In-person / online workshop on Resilience -  Recognising and Resourcing Coping Skills in the Therapeutic Space. This Introduction is presented by Jim Hutton MIACP. 

Learning / teaching methods that will be used e.g. lectures, workshops, tutorials etc.

Visual slides, video presentation and live interaction and delivery followed  

by Q & A session with attendees.


CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Event
