Brendan is an IACP accredited Counsellor/Therapist/Supervisor in private practice. He worked part-time with the Cork Marriage Counselling Centre for 28 years and has a Higher Diploma in Counselling from UCC. Brendan has been on the board of directors of various charities including the National Domestic Violence Agency.
Brendan retired early after 40 years in a number of multi-national electronics companies. He held senior positions in Administration, Sales, Production and as Managing Director.
A reflection on the issue of fees and what they mean to the client and the therapist. What are the therapeutic, business, and ethical implications of the fees we set or do not set. Brendan will also look at what fees we should set in private practice for it to be a viable enterprise.
