The WNW Regional IACP Committee is composed of a dynamic team of 8 members, including 2 fully accredited psychotherapists and clinical supervisors, 3 fully accredited psychotherapists, 2 pre-accredited psychotherapists, and 1 student psychotherapist. Together, we bring a diverse range of expertise, enriched by our therapeutic, educational, and facilitation skills. Our collective experience spans various therapeutic modalities and professional backgrounds, allowing us to support and guide a quality, reflective workshop.
Join us for an insightful reflective session focused on exploring the personal impact of managing resistance in therapy. This session will provide psychotherapists with a space to examine their internal responses to resistance, how it affects the therapeutic relationship, and strategies to stay grounded and empathetic. Through guided reflection, we will discuss recognising resistance in clients, how it challenges us as therapists, and how to enhance our professional growth in the face of these challenges. This is a valuable opportunity to deepen self-awareness and resilience in your practice.
Small Group Discussions (Breakout Groups) where participants will explore and share personal experiences with resistance while emphasising mutual learning and support. Groups will provide feedback to the bigger group for wider discussion.
CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Event
