Event Outline:

Learn about Stress: Stress Management gives you a range of tools to reset and to recalibrate your alarm system. It can help your mind and body adapt (resilience). Without it, your body might always be on high alert. Over time, chronic stress can lead to serious health problems.

✓ Develop an Individual Stress Management Plan: Managing stress is all about making a plan to be able to cope effectively with daily pressures. The ultimate goal is to strike a balance between life, work, relationships, relaxation and fun. By doing this you are more resilient to deal with daily stressors and meet these challenges head on.

✓ Examine your own attitudes: Encourage self-reflection as participants explore and evaluate their own attitudes towards their individual level of stress. Sometimes we might not realise just how much we can change our experience and perception of life by working on how we respond.

✓ Explore the effects of Stress on you, as an individual: Stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behaviour. Knowing common stress symptoms and what your triggers are, can help you manage them.

✓ Develop the skills and knowledge to become more effective in responding to Stress: Empower participants to take an active role in their own life, by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify their triggers and respond effectively.

The goal is to not only disseminate information but to inspire positive change, encouraging proactive responses to the challenges posed by ongoing stress. Coping techniques will be practiced e.g. relaxation exercises or mindfulness practice. The success of these workshops is underscored by the practical skills and insights gained by participants, contributing to the growing demand for Sarah's impactful professional services.
