Presenter's Bio:
Linda is an IACP accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Lecturer with 25 years experience of working with Couples, Individuals and Groups. More recently, she has been supporting employers across Ireland in providing staff training in all things Mental Health and Wellbeing. She lives in Navan where she works in Private Practice and spends her spare time with her husband and 4 kids between the ages of 9 and 19!
Event Outline:
The NERC Committee will facilitate this networking evening, which includes both main group discussions and smaller breakout group connections. This popular event format offers much-needed opportunities to talk, share learning, and connect with fellow professionals — focusing on everything outside of actually holding space for our clients.
We’ll explore the practicalities of running a counselling practice, including setting and maintaining boundaries, managing fees, navigating referrals, using social media mindfully, and reflecting on our own experiences of networking within the therapy community.
