Presenter Bio:
Susi Lodola (MIACP) is a Psychotherapist in private practice, clinical supervisor, and experience in lecturing at third level. She holds a Master of Science in CBT and Motivational Interviewing, a Higher Diploma in Psychology (UCD), and a BA (Hons) in Linguistics from UCD, as well as a BA (First Class Hons) in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Course Outline
The Treating Bulimia, Binge Eating & Body Image Distress course provides practitioners with a clear, evidence-based framework for understanding and working with clients experiencing eating difficulties. The programme distinguishes between bulimia, binge eating, and emotional eating, and explores the psychological, emotional, and behavioural cycles that maintain these difficulties.
Participants will learn practical strategies for treating bulimia, binge eating, and body image distress, helping clients to reduce body dissatisfaction, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
