Present a Workshop : Advance CBT -Formulation and Process

Presenters Bio:Eoin Stephens has more than 25 years experience in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy, providing leadership in such areas as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Addictive Behaviours, Sexual Addictions and Social Anxiety, as well as in Counselling and Psychotherapy Education.

Workshop Outline: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is often seen as a set of very specific technique used in a highly structured way, and while it can indeed sometimes be useful to work this way (e.g. when starting out working with CBT, or in a structured, short-term setting), a deeper working understanding of CBT comes from gaining familiarity with using the framework of Individualised Cognitive-Behavioural Case Formulation, as well as from developing competence and confidence in relation to the use of core CBT change processes such as Socratic Questioning and Behavioural Experimentation.

This workshop will explore the relevance of the client’s learning history to understanding their current problems and planning collaborative therapeutic intervention.

Training Level: All Levels.

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop.
