Once again we are delighted to invite IACP Members to this joint Conference exploring Counselling Practices in the US and in Ireland.

5 Irish Speakers and 10 American speakers will be presenting on current counselling trends within both jurisdictions. The Speakers will include university professors, and experienced counselling and psychotherapy practitioners.

This event is a great opportunity to interact informally with Irish and American counsellors. The event is open to all IACP Members, please note the number of places is limited to 150 for IACP Members and to 50 for US practitioners.

There will be a Free Drinks reception after the conference. Please indicate if you wish to attend this reception by email to Iwona Blasi: iwona@iacp.ie as we must know the numbers in advance.

We're calling for session proposals for this exciting conference focusing on current practices and developments in the area of counselling and psychotherapy, in Ireland and in the United States.   

The 3rd IACP/ University of Holy Cross Conference will take place on Wednesday, 7th August 2019 in Trinity College Dublin and we are looking for 5 IACP Presenters who would each deliver a 50-minute presentation on their chosen area of interest and practice.
 
To submit a proposal for consideration, please complete an application form and send it to Iwona Blasi Innovation & Development Manager to iwona@iacp.ie.
Please note the submission deadline is COB 26th April 2019.

Event Lead: Professor Theodore P. Remley

Presenters Bio: Theodore P. Remley, Jr. is a professor of counselling and is the Booth-Bricker Endowed Professor at Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Remley holds a Ph.D. in Counsellor Education from the University of Florida and a law degree (J.D.) from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of Chi Sigma Iota. He is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Florida. 

Ticket includes full attendance, lunch and refreshments after the conference. 

Training: All Levels

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance.
