Presenter Bio: 

Stella is a psychotherapist, bestselling author, and public speaker. Stella has her master's in CBT and is an accredited member of APCP. Much of Stella’s counselling and writing focuses on mental health and the importance of well-being and she is a regular contributor to the Irish media. Stella's first bestselling book, ‘Cotton Wool Kids’, was released in 2015 while 'Bully-Proof Kids: Practical tools to help kids grow up confident, resilient and strong' was released in 2017. Stella’s new book ‘Fragile': Why are we feeling more anxious and overwhelmed than ever before’, which focuses on overcoming anxiety and stress, was released by Gill Books in April 2019.


Workshop Outline:

This workshop is intended for psychotherapists, counsellors and mental health professionals and aims to explore the cycle of heavy/dependent use of pornography among clients. Stella's success in this area reflects her commitment to therapeutic honesty and integrity when addressing difficult subjects. The impact of pornography on relationships and families is analysed and the complexities of the online world is also incorporated into this in-depth exploration of porn in the 21st century.



CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the workshop.
