Pauline Macey is an IACP Psychotherapist and Supervisor, she works in private practice near Bunclody, Co. Wexford. Pauline works with couples and individual clients and is also a part-time lecturer and facilitator. She holds a MSc. in Family Counselling and since 2002 and has adopted an integrative approach that is primarily humanistic and relational. Having previously worked as an artist and art teacher, she also works in the field of Expressive Arts Therapy.
Workshop Outline:
In 2012, Pauline trained in EFT (Emotionally Focussed Therapy) and is now a certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor. This integrative, relational approach, founded by Dr. Sue Johnson, is based on attachment theory focussing on emotion as the language of attachment. EFT has made a significant impact, and is at the cutting edge of couples and family therapy on a world-wide basis over the last thirty years.
