Beyond phases stages and tasks -working with newer theories on grief in the therapeutic space - Cork CPD
Metropole Hotel, Maccurtain St, Cork
12-09-2020   9:30am - 4:30am
6 CPD hours
External Event, IACP CPD approved.

Main focus of the session will be drawing on participants’ experience of working with grief and loss to help to identify and integrate contemporary theory. This will include identifying grieving styles using the Grief Pattern Inventory (Doka & Martin, 2000) and providing the appropriate support according to the needs of these styles. There will also be information to aid the therapist to determine whether their client(s) is/are at risk of developing a disorder as their grief trajectory may have become derailed.

For more information and to book your place, please contact Lisa O’Hara on 087-3936536 or email

Please note, this is an external training, awarded at 6 IACP CPD points.
