This Diploma In Integrative Therapeutic Play Skills is a 25 day programme that utilises a predominantly experiential approach and is grounded in non-directive therapeutic play. Participants will gain in-depth theoretical knowledge along with the clinical skills required to work effectively in an integrative manner with children aged from 4 to 12 years who present with mild to moderate challenges. Participants will learn not only a range of therapeutic play theories, approaches, and techniques, but also how to conceptualize the therapeutic play process from an integrative perspective. A strong emphasis will be placed on developing participants’ therapeutic play skills and the therapists’ use of self. Participants learning will be further enhanced through experiential and practical skill development in a fully equipped play therapy unit.
