Counselling & Psychotherapy Quantitative Research

The IACP commissioned research company - Behaviour & Attitudes - to conduct surveys on ‘Counselling & Psychotherapy Experience & Attitudes Quantitative Research’ and Members Surveys.

The results of each research give a fascinating insight of the attitudes of the Irish public towards counselling / psychotherapy as well as reality of being a Counsellor / Psychotherapist in Ireland.

We have released some of the findings to the Media and we have received a high amount of interest and indeed exposure in the press, radio and also TV.

By creating a discussion in the media, it has really helped to raise awareness of the issues, the IACP and also awareness of what Counselling / psychotherapy has to offer the general population.
