Specialist Training in Working with Sexual Violence
RCI offers specialist sexual violence clinical training for counsellors, psychotherapists and others working within the sexual violence sector. This is an additional qualification to the generic training for counselling as recognised by a range of professional bodies.
The training consists of one weekend a month over the course of eight months. Topics covered include: sexuality, adult rape and sexual assault, child sexual abuse, male rape, pornography and perpetrators, and vicarious trauma.
There are a limited number of spaces (12 per course) with priority given to those working within the sexual violence sector.
