This workshop offers an experiential examination of the supervisory space supported by the introduction of core principals and practices held in somatic approaches to psychotherapy.

Drawing primarily on two supervision frameworks: The Seven-Eyed Model of Hawkins and Shohet and Page and Wosket’s Cyclical Model, the day aims to weave somatic orientation and approaches to the knowledge and the skills already held by supervisors.

The objective is to support a grounded understanding of these frameworks from a somatic perspective and to encourage the potential for deepening into the wisdom held in the body of each supervisor, therapist and client.

Anne Gaffney: HDip Biodynamic & Integrative Psychotherapy and IICP Professional Diploma in Integrative Supervision.  Anne works as a trainer in the Tracht Psychotherapy Foundation, Kinvara & Galway for twenty five years and runs a busy practice as a body psychotherapist and somatic supervisor.
