This online experiential workshop draws on the metaphor of the “doorway” as a symbolic and reflective lens to enhance clinical supervision practice. This workshop invites participants to cross a threshold of their own — into a more creative, attuned, and reflective supervision practice. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Identify the metaphorical significance of “doorways” as thresholds of psychological and professional change.
2. Reflect on their own internal doorways — the ones they fear, avoid, open, or step through — and how these influence their supervisory role.
3. Apply the doorway metaphor to enhance reflective dialogue and growth in clinical supervision with their supervisees.
4. Facilitate deeper awareness in supervisees by using imagery and metaphor as tools for accessing the unconscious and encouraging transformation.
