Presenter's Bio:

Professor Nichola Rooney, Chief Psychological Professions Officer, Northern Ireland. A Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years' NHS experience, she leads on strategy, professional standards, and enhancing mental health services. She is also an Honorary Professor at Queen's University Belfast. 

Event Outline:

In advance of the AGM process, Professor Nichola Rooney will provide an overview of the newly formed Psychological Professions Forum in Northern Ireland. This will provide members with an opportunity to hear how the psychological professions including counselling and psychotherapy can work together to meet the growing and diverse population needs.
