Fundamentals of Eagala Model Practice
This 29-credit, in-person, 4.5-day training provides didactic and interactive, hands-on learning experiences so that participants leave with an understanding and application of the Eagala Model. The Eagala Model is a model of standards and clinically supported facilitation skillsets which effectively incorporate horses experientially in mental health and personal development sessions. The model involves a team approach of credentialed mental health professional, qualified equine specialist, horses, and clients collaboratively working towards treatment or learning goals.

Who Should Attend: This workshop is designed for credentialed mental health professionals, qualified equine specialists, and other specialized professionals at all levels of experience and licensure to learn how to facilitate Eagala Model Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Eagala - A Global Standard in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Personal Development
Cost is $2500 USD (includes lunches for 4-days and CE credit). Register at least 1-week prior to the scheduled training. Cancellations must be received 3-weeks prior to the event to receive a full refund. After that, refunds are available minus a $200 administrative fee per person. Discounts are available for groups, full-time students, military, and currently certified members.
Course completion requirements: To earn Eagala Certification Certificate, qualified mental health professionals and equine specialists must attend the entire course and complete a pre-training webinar, professional development portfolio, course evaluation, and post-assessment. For mental health professionals to earn CE (NAADAC/NBCC) credit: participants must attend the entire course and complete a course evaluation. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion.

Patti Schlough:
Professional counsellor and therapist with 30 years of experience providing mental
health services to adolescents, families and individuals. Depth of experience delivering
various models of therapy including Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning,
Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Existential Therapy.
Ray Anschel:
Equine specialist since 2010 and network coordinator. working with Veterans, families, groups and individuals as part of the Eagala team.
