In Person - SRC Network Event - Community Based Supports for Older People

Presenter's Bio: 

Dolores  is the Team Leader Community Worker in the HSE. She has 25 years experience, contributing to the development of Innovative projects in older persons' services, peer support structures and inter-agency collaborations. She holds both a BSc and an MSc in Social Science.

Event Outline: 

To explore the different community and voluntary services that help to explore older people stay well and live at home. An overview of day services, social activities, befriending, dementia supports, transport, meals services and fall prevention programmes. To show how the HSE, community groups and voluntary services work in collaboration to support older citizens.
