Women’s health experiences can have a significant emotional and psychological impact and may arise in therapeutic conversations in many different ways. This online event will explore a range of women’s health experiences and consider how therapists can develop greater awareness, understanding and sensitivity when supporting clients.
You don’t have to be a woman to benefit from this event. We warmly welcome everyone to join us. The event is relevant to all therapists who work with clients affected by these experiences, as well as anyone interested in developing their understanding of women’s health in therapeutic practice.
Hear from Selina Casey (The White Butterfly Foundation) on miscarriage, pregnancy loss and grief; Irene Lowry (Nurture Health) on traumatic birth; and Gráinne Clancy on menstruation, perimenopause and menopause.
