IACP Met with the Deputy to Discuss the Current State of Mental Health In Ireland
IACP Chair Bernie Hackett, CEO Lisa Molloy and Communications Officer Hugh O'Donoghue met with John Lahart TD to discuss IACP's public affairs goals for 2021.
John offered us some advice as well as sharing his views and insight into the current situation and viewpoint for counselling and psychotherapy in the Irish Government.
John is a qualified psychotherapist and a former member of the IACP. He serves on the Oireachtas Mental Health Subcommittee. He is one of Dublin South-West's representatives in the Dáil. He is also Fianna Fáil's Spokesperson on Dublin and is Deputy Whip.
We look forward to expanding upon this relationship in the future.
